We went into the classroom, giving hands on instruction and support for the staff on real life examples. This made a big difference for the staff- they can use the strategies with context and the support of our team.
Empowering staff
Training for the staff was customized based on what they wanted out of the session. Each successive training topic was picked based on what the staff wanted to learn.
A community oriented approach
We worked with all of the support systems in Santiam School Districts. Including parents, staff, teachers and other supporting consultants were a part of the Mindworks strategy to have everyone on the same page and working towards the same goal.
