Lonny is a leader and expert who helps people change the tough behaviors with which they struggle. In his career of over 20 years, he has demonstrated his place at the crosshairs of effectiveness and compassion. He is frequently asked to speak to professionals and organizations and on current issues and trends in the field of clinical psychology and social work.

Lonny worked for the Idaho State School and Hospital as an “Psychologist Assistant”, a Psychological Associate at the Oregon State Penitentiary and finally for the Oregon Department of Corrections as the Counseling and Treatment Services, Manager of Behavioral Services. Lonny has degrees in Psychology and Social Work and holds a License in Clinical Social Work.

Currently, Lonny is focused on mixing the “hard science” of neurology with an empathetic, consumable psychotherapy and his own direct, “this may sting a little” approach. This results in families, individuals and even organizations with a better understanding of the neurological underpinnings of their mind, the systems that drive them, and the tools to change behavior.
